The finished video is better than I expected it would be and I think with more work it could have been better.

Evaluation
I definitely could have put more effort in to this assignment. It was very fun to do, but as I previously said there was other assignments that needed to be done so I could not commit completely to this one. My original idea would have been much better I think than the one I decided to go with and I shall take that in to account next time. I feel I may have wasted time by changing my mind half way through on what I was going to record and edit.
Treatment
There's a song playing over the video, it's the workout theme from Rocky IV. On the screen there's a man in bed with a pillow over his face. He awakens and stumbles towards his computer. Now he has a choice of breakfast drinks, nutrition milkshake or gin. The video continues to show how lazy he is until he finally falls asleep playing video games.
Shots that I will need
1. Close up shot of mobile phone showing the time 11:00AM. (00:01-00:03)
2. Wide shot of character in bed with a pillow on his face. (00:09-00:12)
3. Wide shot as he wakes up and looks very dazed and confused. (00:12-00:14)
4. Wide shot of him staggering towards his computer. (00:14-00:21)
5. Perspective shot of a can of milk and a bottle of Gin. (00:21-00:27)
6. Perspective shot as he grabs the gin. (00:27-00:28)
7. Close up as he eats biscuits. (00:29-00:36)
8. Perspective shot of computer screen with cat .GIF shown. (00:36-00:41)
9. He laughs. (00:42-00:43)
10. Close up of phone showing time 13:27. (00:43-00:45)
11. Close up of computer screen playing a video game. (00:45-00:47)
12. Close up of him holding the controller for the video game. (00:48-00:52)
13. Close up of phone showing time 20:32. (00:53-00:56)
14. Close up of sleeping in computer chair. (00:56-01:00)

Proposal
I originally intended to produce a video that would involve a lot of editing, but as I had other assignments to complete couldn't commit that much time to the idea.
I wanted to produce a video of two people having a light sabre dual. I looked up how to create the effect, and while it was definitely achievable it would have taken too much time to produce.
Whilst looking for inspiration and ideas, I came across a video I created in 2007. The video is a parody training montage done in the style of Rocky, but instead of having the subject becoming stronger, they become weaker and are generally unenthusiastic about working out.
I decided it might be a good idea to film this again five years later and do a new version.

Brief
You are required to produce a video, exactly 60 seconds long. The film must have a narrative - it has to tell a story - with a beginning, a middle and an end - however simple.
